About Our
Pastor
Some of the characteristics that drew us to Jones are his loyalty, honesty, and dependability. He is very organized, detail oriented, focused, and thorough. He is also a good listener, very observant, and thoughtful.
Prior to coming to FPC Mesquite in January of 2018, Jones served as Associate Pastor at FPC Columbus, Georgia for the previous 17 years. During that time he led the church through a very difficult period of conflict as Head of Staff. He helped the church “cross the seas to the shore, and become ready for the next chapter in its story”. Prior to being in Columbus he served as Solo Pastor to 2 small yoked churches in Virginia.
Jones holds a Doctor of Ministry degree and is active in his Presbytery. He is also active in community organizations.

Youth Ministry
FPC Mesquite provides vibrant, Christ-centered programs for children and youth that include a variety of venues and opportunities to grow spiritually and serve enthusiastically.
Music Ministry
Our music program provides a place to express your faith for Christ in music. All are welcome and we encourage each member to take part and make a Joyful Noise Unto God.
Wednesday Night LIve
Starting in September and running through April, the FPC WNL program is a night for the entire family to gather and reconnect mid-week for dinner, fellowship and classes for all ages.
