Wednesday Night Live

WEDNESDAY NIGHT LIVE IS BACK – Winter 2024

Our Wednesday Night Live Fellowship (WNL) program is a great way to come together mid-week to learn and grow together as a church family! This program begins in January and runs through mid-April. Check the church calendar for dates and times, as there are some weeks we do not meet due to holiday schedules. Plan to come for dinner at 5:45 PM. Dinner is $5 per person. Adult Bible Study classes and Oil Painting with Pete will all begin at 6:30 PM until 7:30 PM. Nursery is available and a pager will be provided to all parents of nursery-care-age children.

“First Wednesdays” will be a night for Children and Youth to experience fun, service, and scripture.

2024 WNL Dinners

Adult Classes for the first session will be…

The Art of Marriage to begin September 25

The Art of Marriage, by Family Life, will run from September 25 to November 6 (taking a break for the Fall Festival) from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. The six session event weaves together expert teaching, real-life stories, humorous vignettes, on the street interviews, and much more to portray both the challenges and beauty of God’s design for marriage. Every marriage is unique, expressed by the colorful personalities of each spouse and textured by the circumstances at play in their lives. Blending these to make marriage work is a divinely inspired art form-challenging to master but definitely worth the effort.

The Sessions are as follows:

September 25-Love Happens: God’s Purpose and Plan

October 2-Love Fades: Overcoming Isolation

October 9-Love Dances: Fulfilling our Responsibilities

October 16-Love Interrupted: Communication and Conflict

October 30-Love Sizzles: Experiencing Real Intimacy

November 6-Love Always: Leaving a Lasting Legacy

Ministry to Youth . . . Join us as we explore, enjoy, engage in, wrestle with and reflect on all that God has to teach us from His Word. You are encouraged to bring a friend. This is a safe place where you can be creative and honest.

Teachers are Renee Stormer, Taylor Hammer, Elna Singleton and David Howard

Pre-school (ages 3-4)

The Story engages preschoolers with the new storybook Bible, The Story for Little Ones. The curriculum includes activity pages that share Bible stories in simple words and colorful pictures so children ages 3-4 grasp the meaning. Children learn a different Bible story each week and Jesus is always recognizable to the children!

Grades K-5

Deep Blue Kids Deep Blue is the new awe-inspiring resource for children which includes adventure, exciting stories, science experiments, arts and crafts, animated video storytelling, and active games-all combined into a living–faith experience that will help children discover what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ today! The curriculum is colorful and engaging, encouraging the children to “dive deeper” into the Bible and explore their faith in fun and age-appropriate ways.
