On behalf of the youth, sponsors, parents, and myself I would like to express my sincerest thanks to you, our beloved congregation, for so generously supporting our youth music ministry tour this summer. This year’s tour surpassed all previous trips in both quality and quantity. You would have been quite proud of our youth as they ministered and traveled across the southwestern United States. Everyone involved deemed the tour a great success and we simply could not have done it without you. Thank you for your many prayers, generous financial gifts, and numerous words of encouragement.

Many of the people we were privileged to meet, and minister to, in Midland, Odessa, and El Paso, Texas, and in Phoenix and Glendale, Arizona wished for me to extend their greetings to you, and to thank you for sending out our musical youth. As they were encouraged by our ministry, so we also were encouraged by their warm expressions of grace. From the delicious meals and snacks provided for us, to personal greetings, to active and attentive listening during concerts, to verbal expressions of gratitude, we were overwhelmed by the hospitality of the people wherever we played and sang.

This Fall we plan to build on the success of the youth tour as the music ministry groups resume rehearsals in August and September. All youth entering the 7th to 12th grades are welcome to participate. Thank you again for your loving support of our musical youth.
