Wednesday Night Live Calendar

Our Wednesday Night Live Fellowship (WNL) program is a great way to come together mid-week to learn and grow together as a church family! This program begins in September and runs through mid April.  Check the church calendar for dates and times, as there are some weeks we do not meet due to holiday schedules.  Plan to come for dinner at 5:45 PM.  Dinner is $4 per person, with no family paying more than $16.  Adult classes, youth study, and children’s classes will all begin at 6:30 PM until 7:30 PM.  Nursery is available and a pager will be provided to all parents of nursery care age children.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT LIVE Session One

Begins September 14, 2016 – Registration is open

Adult Classes for the first 6 week session will be…

Our Faith-in a Nutshell: A summary of some of the major points of belief of the Presbyterian Church Describing these points as Our Faith—in a Nutshell, reminds us that a six-week course can only touch lightly upon the things we believe. We will find many things that we hold in common with all Christians. There are a few things that are more distinctive to the Reformed faith (derived from the theological tradition of John Calvin). The six weeks will cover the nature of God; the person of Christ; the life-giving and changing power of the Holy Spirit; the creation of humanity, our sin and redemption; means of God’s revelation—the Bible and the creeds; the means of grace—worship and the sacraments.

Class led by Harry Meissner

Landscape Painting The ever popular oil painting class led by Pete Allen will continue this fall!! Beginners are welcome to join the class and everyone works at their own pace.  Need we say more?

Creative Comfort and Fellowship Do you love to knit, crochet or work on crafts…or would you love to learn? Join this group of women who just love to get together, share their talents and create in the bonds of adult fellowship! No critical thinking or previous training is necessary…but, a love of fun and fellowship is mandatory!  If you have a talent or idea to share, bring it with you. This class is for adults only.

Break Free and Dare to Share Looking for a way to take your faith to a whole different level?  Looking for a way to understand the meaning of faith in real world situations and environments?  Various studies will take you through a process of evaluation and readiness training. Each study is designed to help students develop a solid foundation that endures through the struggles they face each day in the real world and be ready to share their faith as young disciples.  Teachers are Sheila Hammer and Brian Neece

Pre-school (ages 3-4)

The Story engages preschoolers with the new storybook Bible, The Story for Little Ones. The curriculum includes activity pages that share Bible stories in simple words and colorful pictures so children ages 3-4 grasp the meaning. Children learn a different Bible story each week and Jesus is always recognizable to the children!  Teachers are Suzanne Ivy and Ursula Villarreal

Deep Blue Kids Deep Blue is the new awe-inspiring resource for children which includes adventure, exciting stories, science experiments, arts and crafts, animated video storytelling, and active games-all combined into a living–faith experience that will help children discover what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ today!
